Forsyth Humane Society is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to enriching our community by promoting the compassionate treatment of cats and dogs. We are committed to: placing cats and dogs into loving homes; advancing community understanding of the benefits of animal companionship; providing needed resources to the pet community; supporting a no-kill adoption center and the spaying/neutering of dogs and cats.

October 28 – Mutt-i-grees® in the Library Storytime

Mutt-i-grees® in the Library Storytime —This exciting initiative builds on children’s affinity for animals and highlights the unique characteristics and desirability of shelter pets – Mutt-i-grees – to teach essential social and emotional skills. This program, brought to you by CMWS and the Forsyth Humane Society, aims to enhance children’s self- and social-awareness, relationship skills, and ability to make ethical decisions that benefit people, animals, and the environment through the teaching of empathy and related social and emotional skills.

Mutt-i-grees® in the Library Storytime will take place at the Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem at 11am.
