Financial Assistance

The FHS provides coordination and implementation of the Olivia and Edwina Morykwas Spay/Neuter Fund and also the Sturmer Spay/Neuter program. The Sturmer Spay/Neuter program is overseen by the Winston-Salem Foundation. These programs provide financial assistance to any low income person (as defined by HUD) in Forsyth County for their dog or cat's spay/neuter surgery.

If you would like to apply for spay/neuter assistance, please drop by the facility on Miller Street, or download an application in English or Spanish.

Financial assistance is also available for Rabies and Distemper vaccinations, if needed, at the time of your pets spay or neuter surgery.
