Without our volunteers, we would not be able to continue our work. We always have a need for additional volunteers. Read about the volunteer opportunities we have available.

Adopt

If you have room in your heart and your home, come to the adoption center and adopt a new pet. Take a look at ouradoptable pets now.

The FHS has the history, the facility, the desire, the volunteers, the commitment, and the material resources to continue to serve, and we ask for your commitment and financial support.

When You Shop

If you shop at Lowes Foods, you can donate Greenpoints to the Forsyth Humane Society, so that we can use them to get supplies.

To donate your Greenpoints, call 1-800-435-5674, select the donate option and give them our account number: 420-21891-4195. We are notified when we receive greenpoints, but due to confidentiality restraints we only receive your name therefore we can not send you a personal thank you note. Thank you for your support.

Do you shop at Food Lion? If so, you can help the Forsyth Humane Society!

The Lion Shop & Share program is an easy way to raise funds for the homeless dogs and cats at the Forsyth Humane Society.

To register your card and add the Forsyth Humane Society to your list, please click here and follow the instructions.

If you prefer, you can call 1-704-633-8250, ext. 3810 (toll-free) and have your information taken over the phone. It’s that easy! Each time you use your MVP card, a portion of your total grocery purchase will be donated to the Forsyth Humane Society with absolutely no cost you!

Sponsor a Kennel

You can honor a loved one, a person or pet, by purchasing a kennel plaque for one year within our Adoption Center. Perhaps your business would like to show its support for the Forsyth Humane Society by purchasing a plaque. Hundreds of animal lovers and potential pet adopters will see your support and concern for the animals.

A limited number of plaques are available. Please contact FHS at 336-721-1303, ext. 105, for details.

The costs of kennel plaques are:

• Small – $250
• Medium – $500
• Large – $1,000
